![]() ![]() Doing 8 classes a day, especially on a computer was hard enough but the academic portion of it was great. The classes i took were a little hard but it taught me work ethic. It taught me to not procrastinate which was a hard one for me. It was a great school and i loved being apart of it. Senior: I did Idaho Virtual Academy for 5 years and i loved it. ![]() There is also no foreign language curriculum at the elementary level. The school appears to be working to remedy this, however, by arranging online fieldtrips that students from all parts of the state can attend. I do not regret choosing this school for my children and am excited to see where it takes them next!Ĭons: Most of the student body is in only one part of the state, leaving some students feeling disconnected from available activities due to travel times. This school is a great choice if you want an online school with strong curriculum or if you want to homeschool your child but need some direction and want them to earn an accredited high school diploma. The teachers are helpful and care about the students doing well. The curriculum takes work both on the student's part and the learning coach's part. This is a college prep school and the work required reflects that. ![]() Parent: Pros: Fantastic for letting children work at a pace that is right for them. ![]()
